Program Description: | WPI is a highly-selective STEM focused university, with a focus on collaborative, hands-on learning. Merit scholarships are available for first-year applicants based on academic performance and extracurricular involvement. WPI also offers a limited number of need-based scholarships. These awards typically range from 5,000 to 25,000. Awards will not exceed the cost of tuition. International students are able to work on campus or complete cooperative education programs to help contribute financially to their education. |

Eligibility Requirements
Requirements 1: | All applicants who apply to WPI by February 15 are considered for a possible merit scholarship if admitted. No separate merit scholarship application is required. |
Requirements 2: | Applicants for admission who wish to be considered for need-based International Scholarships must submit the CSS Profile at the time that they apply for admission. |
Requirements 3: | Applicants who are non-native English speakers must submit TOEFL, or IELTS, or PTE scores to prove English language proficiency. |
