Program Description: | The WMU Diether H. Haenicke Scholarship is a merit-based award available to undergraduate international students who meet the selection criteria. WMU offers 262 undergraduate programs, the second most undergraduate programs offered by any public university in Michigan. Study engineering, business, aviation, humanities, education, music, theater, and more. U.S. News & World Report has designated WMU one of the United States' best national universities for more than 24 years and has placed it in the top tier of those universities annually since creating the tier. | |

Requirements 1: | Undergraduate degree-seeking international student, entering WMU for the first time. |
Requirements 2: | Cumulative GPA of 3.0 and above on a 4.0 scale. |
Requirements 3: | Must be admissible to WMU. |
Requirements 4: | Enroll fall or spring term immediately after secondary school or transfer from another university. |
Requirements 5: | Must maintain a cumulative WMU GPA of 2.5 for renewal and be a full time student (12 credits each semester), as well as successfully complete a minimum of 24 credit hours each academic year and remain a non-Michigan resident. |
