Program Description: | This fellowship aims to provide an opportunity for well-qualified citizens of ADB's developing member countries to pursue postgraduate studies in economics, management, science and technology, and other development-related fields. Upon completion of their study programs, scholars are expected to contribute to the economic and social development of their home countries. The East-West Center administers the Asian Development Bank-Japan Scholarship Program in Honolulu which provides support for graduate studies in approved field of study at the University of Hawaii at Manoa and for participation in the educational, leadership development, and cultural activities at the East-West Center. | |||||||||||

Requirements 1: | Must have completed a bachelor's degree to apply for master's degree funding. |
Requirements 2: | Must have two years post university work experience at the time of application. |
Requirements 3: | GPA as specified by the University of Hawaii graduate department. |
Requirements 4: | Must have a minimum TOEFL score of 550 PBT/ 213 CBT/ 79-80 IBT, 6.5 IELTS score, or minimum DUOLINGO score of 100. |
Requirements 5: | Must be citizen of developing member country of the Asian Development Bank. |
